Chapter Membership

Traditional chapters offer a strong community service and philanthropic focus, with monthly meetings centering on educational, networking and fund-raising programs.  Chapter members gain valuable experience and leadership skills in a supportive environment by managing meetings, working on committees, managing fund-raising projects and speaking at chapter functions.  Annual fee: $50.

Student Membership

As a full-time college student, you can get a jump-start on opening career doors and preparing for your entrance into the workforce by taking advantage of the WHLE student membership.  The Association offers vast networking, internships and mentoring resources, all at an affordable student price.  Annual fee: $30.00

Sponsorship/Speaker Opportunities

We are contacted by hundreds of people each year wanting to speak at our conferences. We have two times a year that we request and accept proposals:

 June 1-July 31, 2006, for our 2007 spring conference season

Sept.1-Oct. 31, 2006, for our 2007 national conference

We look for speakers in the following areas: leadership, management skills, empowerment, technology, leadership, entrepreneurial skills, communications, marketing, and career development. We also need inspirational keynote speakers. Our themes vary for each conference.

If your proposal is considered for further review, a media kit will be requested. Do not send media kits unless they are requested.
